Job Responsibilities

• Create and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing on a variety of applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand application features and address quality concerns.
• Perform automated testing using existing frameworks and develop new automation scripts as necessary.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for enhancing software quality and testing processes.
• Participate in code reviews and provide insights on quality and development practices.
• Stay informed about new testing tools and strategies to improve test coverage and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or a related area.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is preferable.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database technologies for data validation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
