Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Execute manual and automated testing, including functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the software development process using issue tracking systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers and product managers, to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and provide quality assurance feedback to engineering teams.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and work to improve processes that lead to high-quality software deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing roles.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Experience with performance testing tools, such as LoadRunner or JMeter, is a plus.
