Position Overview

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. The successful candidate will take charge of managing, monitoring, and optimizing Elastic Cloud environments. This position demands a deep technical understanding of Elastic stack components, with an emphasis on architectural design, implementation, and performance tuning. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to support business initiatives, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the seamless operation of cloud services.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Elastic Cloud Enterprise environments to meet business requirements.
• Implement monitoring solutions for Elastic Cloud stacks to ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ECE deployments, including performance optimization and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain documentation regarding architecture, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate ECE solutions into ongoing projects.
• Participate in on-call support rotation to address escalated incidents and requests.
• Conduct training sessions for team members relating to ECE best practices and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in managing Elastic Cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of Elastic Stack components, including Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance tuning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
