The Senior Software Development Engineer (Sr. SDE) for Amazon Aurora Serverless, Control Plane will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions that enhance the performance and functionality of database services. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the Amazon Aurora Serverless control plane.
• Collaborate with product managers and architect solutions that meet business requirements and enhance user experience.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Identify and resolve production issues and service outages promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience in a cloud environment, preferably with AWS services.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of database management systems, particularly relational databases.
