Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable CDN and networking solutions to optimize performance and availability.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop and deploy solutions aligned with business needs.
• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in incident response activities, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers on SRE best practices and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to system architectures, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, networking, or system administration.
• Strong understanding of CDN technologies, protocol optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, CDN concepts).
• Familiarity with container orchestration systems like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on operational excellence.

Technologies & Tools

The Senior Staff Site Reliability Engineer will work with a range of advanced technologies and tools, including but not limited to cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform, CDN solutions such as Cloudflare or Akamai, container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana, as well as configuration management and automation tools including Terraform and Ansible.
