Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CDN and networking solutions to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Monitor system health across the network, responding proactively to incidents to minimize downtime.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operations and maintain consistency across environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions to ensure service reliability.
• Implement best practices for capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery techniques.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 operations and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, with a focus on CDN and networking.
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS) and related technologies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Proven track record of implementing CI/CD practices for network and CDN services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Technologies & Tools

This position will require proficiency in an array of technologies and tools such as CDN platforms (Cloudflare, Akamai), networking tools (Wireshark, tcpdump), configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform), and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
