Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable content delivery networks (CDN) and networking infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, addressing issues promptly to ensure optimal uptime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute deployment strategies for new services.
• Implement automation and tooling to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for CDN and networking services.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 operational coverage.
• Document processes, procedures, and technical specifications for future reference.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge around best practices in SRE methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Networking, or a similar role.
• Proficient in networking protocols and principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP.
• Experience with CDN platforms and technologies, such as Akamai, Cloudflare, or AWS CloudFront.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby for automation.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of incident management processes and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
