Overview

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Sr Engineer at Tekshapers will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. This position involves the implementation of software engineering practices to directly influence our operations, providing technical guidance and support while ensuring seamless management of our infrastructure. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions and infrastructure.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability using various tools and metrics.
• Develop automation tools to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.
• Respond to outages and incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Collaborate with development and operational teams to establish Service-Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service-Level Indicators (SLIs).
• Create and maintain documentation for system architectures, procedures, and processes.
• Conduct capacity planning and management to ensure system growth aligns with business objectives.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support and maintenance of our systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
