About the Opportunity:

The STAFF SOFTWARE ENGINEER - PLATFORM ENGINEERING leads technical efforts across shared platforms supporting over 250 engineers and AI scientists. The role shapes platform architecture, resolves systemic challenges, and builds capabilities to enhance engineering velocity, reliability, and AI deployment. This position requires extensive cloud-native platform experience and the capacity to lead complex, cross-team initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Define long-term platform vision, architecture, and engineering standards.
• Develop shared services and platform capabilities to boost developer productivity.
• Lead cross-functional platform initiatives, aligning stakeholders in engineering, infrastructure, security, and AI.
• Advance cloud-native and DevSecOps capabilities across various tools and environments.
• Mentor senior engineers and guide technical decisions to improve platform adaptability and resilience.

Requirements:

• Minimum seven years of software engineering experience with developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, tooling, or shared services in large organizations.
• Proven ability to lead architecture, implementation, and production operations with impactful technical decisions.
• Experience managing ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives and creating scalable technical solutions.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native platforms, infrastructure automation, containers, observability, software delivery, and reliability.
• Strong leadership and influence in improving developer experience and building secure, scalable systems.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The base pay range is $254,520.00 to $490,860.00 per year.
• This role participates in an annual bonus plan with a target of 25.00%.
