Job Description

Role:

Surgical Tech II – Cardiovascular

Support complex cardiac and vascular procedures in advanced operating rooms by preparing and maintaining instruments and sterile fields.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile fields.
Anticipate surgeon and team needs during cardiovascular cases.
Maintain strict safety, infection-control, and sterile processing standards.
Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia teams to support patient-centered care.
Support efficient, high-quality perioperative workflow throughout procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven surgical technology experience with cardiovascular procedures.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrument care, and infection prevention.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication with multidisciplinary OR staff.
Commitment to patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
