Job Overview

The System Engineer III at Revel IT will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of complex systems within our enterprise infrastructure. Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and enforce system security measures and protocols to protect company assets.
• Conduct regular system performance evaluations and recommend enhancements as needed.
• Coordinate and assist with system installations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Provide tier-3 support for complex systems issues and escalate when necessary.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency with both Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Solid knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
• IT certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or equivalent are highly advantageous.

Technologies & Tools

This position will involve working with various technologies and tools, including, but not limited to, VMware for virtualization management, AWS and Azure for cloud computing, various operating systems (Windows Server and Linux), networking tools for monitoring and troubleshooting, and scripting capabilities for automation of system tasks. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet will also be beneficial in managing deployments and configurations efficiently.
