About the Opportunity:

The SYSTEMS AUTOMATION ENGINEER role is focused on designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure-as-code foundations, primarily using Terraform. This position ensures the standardization and security of infrastructure delivery across multiple teams and cloud providers, directly impacting the reliability and scalability of the company’s cloud and hybrid environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reusable Terraform modules with clear APIs and version control
• Manage Terraform state, backends, and organize workspaces at scale
• Harden CI/CD pipelines and enforce policy-as-code
• Standardize infrastructure delivery across teams and multiple cloud providers
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis on infrastructure issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps with a strong focus on Terraform
• Hands-on expertise with production Terraform on at least one major cloud provider
• Experience designing reusable Terraform modules and managing large-scale Terraform environments
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated policy enforcement
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security
• Proficiency with Git workflows including code review, branching, and release management
• Excellent troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multi-cloud Terraform setups (e.g., AWS and Azure or AWS and GCP)
• Familiarity with tools like Terragrunt, Atlantis, Spacelift, or env0
• Knowledge of policy-as-code engines such as Sentinel, OPA, or Checkov
• Contributions to public Terraform modules or providers
• Understanding of FinOps and tagging-based cost governance

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range: $120,000–$135,000 annually
