Overview

The Systems Engineer III at MAG Aerospace will play a pivotal role in the design, integration, and implementation of complex systems within aerospace and defense applications. Job Responsibilities

• Conduct systems engineering tasks throughout all project phases, from requirements analysis to verification and validation.
• Develop and review system architectures and specifications while ensuring alignment with stakeholders' needs.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and test engineering teams to integrate systems and verify functionality.
• Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential system vulnerabilities.
• Utilize modeling and simulation tools to evaluate system performance and make informed improvements.
• Document and present engineering analyses, design specifications, and test plans to senior management and clients.
• Support system troubleshooting and resolution efforts as required during development and operational phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, with a focus on aerospace or defense applications.
• Proficiency in systems modeling languages (e.g., SysML, UML) and architectural frameworks (e.g., DoDAF, NAF).
• Demonstrated experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jira).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information effectively.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desirable.
