Treasury Management Sales Specialist

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Treasury Management Sales Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of Payment modalities, Treasury Management products, general Bank services, and pricing.
• Assist the clients with Payments research, accounting entries and service fees.
• Partner with Treasury Management Sales Officer and Banking Team, when appropriate, to develop calling skills, interpersonal relationship building and follow-up protocol.
• Serve as primary back up for Treasury Management Sales Officer in his/her absence.
• Support with revenue generating activities to include adding new accounts and/or new services to existing relationships.
• Prepare implementation forms and customer paperwork to onboard new Payments and Private Capital Solutions clients.
• Work closely with Operations, Treasury Services Support, FIU and other internal units to research and provide the highest quality service to clients
• Develop working knowledge relative to the Treasury Management small business platform.
• Communicate and educate bankers regarding client situations, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Understand the application of products/services to business cash flow cycles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years banking experience or 5+ years related experience (Treasury Management sales / product / support, line banker, commercial call center);
• Success in problem analysis and resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple detailed work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to develop rapport easily with clients, peers, and partners.
• Knowledge of bank operating systems and commercial banking practices.
• Knowledge of Treasury Management products, services, procedures, and practices.
• Previous experience with analysis of commercial relationships, strategic sales planning and customer issue resolution is preferred.
