Unemployment Benefit (İşsizlik Ödeneği)
Who can get it. Workers who paid unemployment insurance premiums for at least 600 days in the last three years and were under contract for the last 120 days before the contract ended.
How much. 40% of average daily gross earnings; may not exceed 80% of the gross monthly minimum wage.
For how long. 180 days (600 days of premiums), 240 days (900 days), 300 days (1080 days).
How to claim. Apply in person or online to the nearest İŞKUR office within 30 days after the contract ends.

Unemployment pay is cut for anyone who refuses, without valid reason, a job İŞKUR offers that suits their occupation, or who refuses or drops out of training İŞKUR recommends, or does not answer İŞKUR's calls or give requested documents on time. Changes (new address, starting work, going abroad) must be reported within 15 days.
