Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement Elastic Stack solutions for monitoring, data analysis, and visualization.
• Manage and optimize Elastic Cloud resources to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate Elastic solutions into existing applications.
• Conduct troubleshooting and performance tuning for Elastic services.
• Build and maintain scripts for automation and configuration management.
• Implement security measures and best practices for cloud deployment.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies related to Elastic and cloud computing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Elastic technologies.
• Proficient in deploying and managing Elastic Cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

Technologies & Tools

In this position, the Senior Elastic Cloud Engineer will work with a variety of technologies and tools that include, but are not limited to, the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), cloud infrastructure services (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
