Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, ensuring quality assurance standards are met.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure timely delivery.
• Perform regression testing to confirm that previously developed and tested software still performs after a change.
• Participate in requirement analysis and discussions to ensure completeness and clarity.
• Utilize automated testing tools to optimize testing efficiency where applicable.
• Provide status reports on testing activities and quality metrics to project managers and team leads.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives relating to testing processes and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Proficient in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP) is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
