What it is
The National Police Clearance is issued by the Philippine National Police through the National Police Clearance System, which covers the whole country. (pnpclearance.ph)
How to get it
Register at pnpclearance.ph, complete your profile, then choose the purpose, a date and the police station you want. (pnpclearance.ph)
Pay online through the Landbank ePayment Portal, by e-wallet or at a payment center, and keep the payment confirmation or electronic receipt. (pnpclearance.ph)
First-time applicants must go in person: a photo, signature and fingerprints are taken at the appointment. (pnpclearance.ph)
If you got a clearance in person within the last three years, you can renew without going to the station. Use the same account, upload a 2x2 photo and a selfie holding a government ID, and download the clearance from your account. (pnpclearance.ph)
Where to go
Go to the police station you chose on your appointment date. Bring one valid government ID, your proof of payment and your appointment reference number. (pnpclearance.ph)
Filipinos working or based abroad who apply for the first time can ask online for a Clearance Certification instead of going to a station. (pnpclearance.ph)
What it costs
The clearance fee is Php150. The payment channel may add a convenience fee. (pnpclearance.ph)
First-time jobseekers get it free under RA 11261, once. Bring an FTJS certification saying you are a first-time jobseeker, with one valid ID. (pnpclearance.ph)
How an employer checks it
Anyone can check a clearance under Clearance Verification on pnpclearance.ph, with the applicant's last name and the clearance's transaction number. (pnpclearance.ph)
Where this comes from
Every fact above was read on an official page, linked beside it; we last checked them on October 27, 2026. Fees and times change: the official site has the final word. We are not the Philippine National Police (PNP) and cannot apply for you, see your application or speed it up.
