Job Overview

The Sr Quality Engineer at Veradigm® plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and integrity of our software products. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and improve quality at all stages of product development.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, validating the fixes and ensuring re-testing occurs as needed.
• Automate testing processes to increase operational efficiency and coverage across our software products.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of quality within the team.
• Evaluate and implement QA tools and processes to ensure effective quality management.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing sessions.
• Assess risk and communicate potential quality issues to stakeholders proactively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role, showcasing a strong analytical skill set.
• Proficiency in Automated Testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Technologies & Tools

The Sr Quality Engineer will utilize a variety of modern testing tools and software, including but not limited to Selenium, Postman, JIRA for defect tracking, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
